As long as I can remember I’ve been drawing anything and everything I came in contact with while growing up in the Northeast of Brazil. But, I didn’t really start to paint until a few years ago after I took my first drawing and painting classes at WCC where I got my Visual Arts Associate’s Degree.
All my Art pieces are a small narrative of my style. Mixing mediums gives me the freedom to incorporate and create texture. I love to paint anything from museum pieces, flowers, old Hollywood, Portraits… I’m always looking for new material to embody my art. I use foil on most of my paintings since it reminds me of the glitter and colors from the Brazilian Carnival which is a small part of my Brazilian culture.
